Tomorrow is Memorial Day (May 28, 2012). Let us honor the millions, maybe billions of veterans who served in the armed forces. They were so young, these boys and girls, from the past years to now. There is no way to repay them, we can only say thank you and each of us remember. I want to talk a little about Francis Hoffmann and Helen Hoffmann who served in World War ll and post pictures of Francis P. Hoffmann. He was the son of John "Pops" and Birdie Hoffmann and the brother of Dorothy (Hoffmann) Gerber and our Uncle Francis. Francis joined the Army in 1934 and re-enlisted in 1938 and made a career of the military. I think at first it was called the Army Air Corps. Here are some photos.
